Grab hooks attach to the component connector and allows the user to temporary shorten the length of Chain.

Grade 80 and Grade 100 Chain Grab Hooks and Shortening Clutches are manufactured from high tensile alloy steel and individually magnaflux crack detected after heat treatment.

Proof tested to 2.5 times the working load limit.

Grade 80 grab hooks are suitable for use in a temperature range of -40C up to 200C without reduction in working load limit.

Grade 100 (200° Temper) grab hooks are suitable for use in a temperature range of -40°C up to 200°C without reduction in working load limit.

We recommend only using Grade 80 components with Grade 80 chain.

We recommend only using Grade 100 components with Grade 100 Chain.

Each Grab Hook and Shortening Clutch is supplied with the relevant certification.
