Foxholes School Wire Rope Abacus Sculpture

S3i were commissioned to design and install a huge abacus sculpture at a primary school in Dorset.

Vertical wires were attached to the steel joists in the roof section. The large colourful abacus balls have been held position using wire rope ring clamps

The pictures below, show how our installation team had to rely on all their years of experience (and balance) to produce a perfect finish.
